Thank you for your visit to "Sgarzi Collezioni" ("Sgarzi Collections")

I am Roberto Sgarzi from Bologna, owner of this site, a dentist and a person who has various interests and collecting memorabilia is just one of these.

Only a collector can understand and "forgive" the extraordinary and sweet crazy that lead to love, to polish, to repair, to restore, to archive, to exhibit, to value, to conserve an huge number of assorted objects and for many curious, but never enough clear, reasons but in this often there is the eternal illusion to try to stop the passing of time. In this case it is possible that he try to "capture the time" via an object representative of the past.

I started to collect about fifty years ago; I bought many objects, many I have resold, many I have kept, many I would like to sell and many more objects I would like to buy.
I am convinced that in each collector there is also a trader and in each trader there is also a collector.

However I have convinced myself to deprive me of many items I have and for this reason I have catalogued and in a large amount photographed these. Could be curious or lying but the first reason that have convinced me to drop some of my items is the will to looking for people passionate about a certain kind of collecting too.

The possibility to imagine, for example, a my toy in the hands of a child with destructive intention, or to imagine abandoned a my vintage motorcycle to a junk dealer for implausible, but possible, reasons fear me.

I am halfway through works in fact I have still not done an item evaluation and I have still to make inventory of some items like some Roman Republic announcements and posters (1848-1849) but a day I will complete do all of these things..

I will show you the list of some items I have and I reveal you that is all available for sale, but also for exchanges with items I could be interested in collection..
